Purchasing SAGEVONE Prepaid Cards

How can I purchase prepaid phone cards online?

It’s easy. Simply choose the country that you wish to call and pick the phone card with the best rate. Select the price denomination and specify the quantity that you wish to buy. You will be asked to enter your account information and payment options. Once completed, you will receive your order via email and you can start using the card.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Your order will be sent through email just a few minutes after you have completed your purchase. Alternatively, you may also view the My Account page to view your card PIN and other order details.

Can I recharge my prepaid phone card?

Sure! Just login to your account and go to the PIN-less manager section. Select the card PIN that you want to recharge and simply press the Recharge Card link. The checkout page will be displayed where you will be asked to choose the recharge amount and enter the payment information. After clicking the Submit button, you will see the Order Confirmation page. An email confirming your recharge order will also be sent to your registered email address.

What mode of payments do you accept?

SageVone accepts credit card and debit card payments via VISA, Master Card and Diner’s Club.

Is my online transaction secure?

Definitely! Your credit card information is encrypted using the industry standard 128-bit SSL technology and we are affiliated with Geo Trust SSL which guarantees protected and secured online payment transaction and data transfers. In addition, every time you enter credit card information, you have the option to save your information for later transactions or just use it for that one-time transaction.

Why was my credit card declined?

There are a number of reasons why your Credit card has been declined by our system. You have to make sure that you have entered the correct credit card number and CVV2. You also have to check your card’s expiration date and your credit limit. Please make sure that you have entered the correct billing address. For security reasons, we match your billing address with the address that you used to register in your SAGEVONE account.

Do prepaid phone cards expire?

Yes. You have to consume the remaining credits in your phone card within 6 months from the first time you use it or else, you will lose it.

Is there a return/exchange policy?

No, all sales are final. But if for some reason, you encounter a problem with the card you just purchased, please contact our Customer Service for reimbursement of the card in terms of call minutes.

Are there peak and off-peak rates?

No. Our published rates are the same 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Why do rates differ when calling a cell phone?

There is a surcharge applied when calling to cellular phones which result to higher rates as compared to fixed phones.

Are there additional fees charged for every call?

Aside from our low rates, the next best thing with SAGEVONE prepaid calling cards is that we don’t charge you for additional hidden fees like maintenance fees, connection fees and hang-up charges. You can use the entire value of your card for the actual call minutes you have consumed.

Do rates differ when calling from a public pay phone?

The rates are the same but you will be charged for the mandated payphone surcharge so the call minutes will not be the same as when calling from a private phone line.

Placing a Call using SAGEVONE Prepaid Cards

How can I place a call using a prepaid phone card?

Using a touch tone phone, dial the access number provided for the card. You may use the toll free access number or the local access number available in your location. You will be prompted to enter the PIN that you received in the email and the destination telephone number that you wish to call.

If I lose my PIN, how do I retrieve it again?

Just login to your account and in the view the order history page, look for your lost PIN.

What is a PIN-less prepaid phone card?

The PIN-less feature of our phone cards allows you to make your calls without having to enter the card PIN every time. To do this, simply register your phone number in the PIN-less manager page to activate this feature for the particular PIN that you wish to use.

We suggest that you register a direct private phone line as this will not work for PBX phones in offices, dormitories, hospitals and other public places.

How do I know the remaining credit on my phone card?

Every time you place a call, you will hear the remaining card value (in US dollars) and the available minutes for your destination call.

Can I use your phone cards from anywhere?

You can use your phone from anywhere within the United States using the toll free access number or the local access number available in your location. You can find all the available access numbers in the Prepaid Services products page.

Can I use my Phone Card to call a different country than the one I selected when I first purchased the Card?

Definitely! But the rate is only applicable to the country that you originally intended to use the card for so there maybe lesser or more call minutes available for that call.

Managing SAGEVONE Account

How do I sign-up in SAGEVONE?

For Prepaid Services: Simply click on the Register link in the My Account login page and you will be asked to create an account name and password. You also have to fill-in the Personal Information and Billing Information sections. Submit the form and that’s it, you have just created an account with us and you are ready to enjoy big savings on your long distance calls!

For VoIP Services: Click the Order Now link in the package plan of your choice and you will be guided all though out the registration process. You can also use your VoIP account to purchase prepaid calling cards.

What do I do if I forgot my password?

In case you forgot you password, don’t worry we help you remember it! Simply click on the Forgot Password link in the login box, enter the email address that you used to register with us and we will send the password back to you.

Can I change my account email address?

Sure. You can edit your profile in your SageVone account except for the username. If you wish to use a different username, you have to create a new account.

How can I cancel my account?

We hope you won’t but if you wish, you may do so. Please send us an email(?) at and we will purge your personal information from our system.
